Injury Assessment & Rehabilitation

In our clinic we are able to assist with assessment and treatment of a range of conditions from acute sporting injuries to chronic back/neck pain. We also assist with rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery and assist clients under the NDIS scheme with a range of conditions. We work collaboratively with our clients on their health goals and incorporate this into creating their individualized treatment plan. We use a range of hands on treatment and individualized exercise prescription in rehabilitation for conditions. We also provide education to clients on their condition and how to implement self management strategies at home. As part of our practice we also offer home visits and nursing home visits to clients who are unable to easily access our clinic. Our physiotherapists are dedicated to ongoing learning and are frequently undergoing additional training and in-services to ensure we are providing up-to-date, effective treatment to our clients.

Dry
Needling

Kristy has done additional training in dry needling. Dry needling is a technique that uses single use acupuncture needles inserted into trigger point areas in muscles to help reduce pain, promote healing and improve function and range of movement. Dry needling can be a great addition to other treatments that we provide. * Please note: there are certain conditions that dry needling is contraindicated. Your physiotherapist will get you to complete a screening questionnaire prior to treatment and determine your appropriateness for dry needling.

Fibreglass
Casting

Our physiotherapists are trained at applying and removing casts. In our clinic we use waterproof fibreglass casting material (where appropriate) which enables you to get the cast wet when showering/bathing and swimming, avoiding the need for bagging the cast.
